Kindergarten

Pre-Primary Education is (age of 3 to 6 years) considered to be very important for the child as it is the first step towards entering the formal school. The main purpose of pre-primary education is to prepare children physically,, emotionally, socially and mentally for formal schooling. Primary School years are an important phase in a child’s education. ln primary classes we follow continuous and comprehensive Evaluation Method . The holistic method will give the child the chance to discover new interests, learn new skills and build his character. This will also provide him the opportunities to develop confidence inhibiting more leadership qualities and learning to be more mindful! of the needs of classmates.

UP School

ln class lV to Vll, Our students continue to grow through the teaching of more complex academic concepts. At their time greater attention is focused on scholastic areas such as English, Maths, Environmental attitudes, Malayalam, Hindi and Computer as these are the foundation subjects for the understanding of all others. ln this stage study is supported and empowered and always monitored, so students are getting what they require to become active and responsible. Independent thinking is encouraged by our teachers. Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation method is continuing in Upper Primary classes also. Co-Scholastic areas are also given due importance.

High School

High School years at the school are classes from VIII to X with external examination held in class X. lt is a time which is critical for preparing students for their next step. (By this age our students are becoming leaders, develop as mentors, role models and peer supporters for the young children. The academic curriculum consists of Malayalam, Mathematics, English, Science, social Science and Computer Science. Throughout their years in K N S Central School, we guide them to lay the foundation for the creation of adults who are comfortable to articulate the views and take on the responsibilities of a global citizen.

The C C E method is following in the school classes also. Assessment is an important aspect of teaching and learning. lt should be used to support the holistic development of students. Assessment should focus more on providing information on the learning progress of the child. Teachers will use a range of assessment tools, including written and performance tasks to enable them to provide feedback to students on their mastery of concepts and skills as well as their strengths and areas for an improvement.

Senior Secondary

ln the final school years classes +1 and +2 students take the examination – All lndia senior School Certificate Examination.
